When we moved here to Oak Point, we thought this small Weber Grill would be ideal. We don't eat a lot of meat, but we like a hamburger now and then, and back at our old house we had always had a grill that we kept in the shed.
We don't have a shed here, and there's already too much stuff in the garage. Besides, we don't need anything big: there's just the two of us. We thought this really fit our needs.
Well, it doesn't. First of all, these silly little propane bottles don't last long. Worse, it's very difficult to tell when this grill is lit: you can't easily see the flame through the tiny peep hole provided, and if you remove the insides for a direct view, the flame is too small to be seen in direct sunlight. As this grill heats up slowly at best, I constantly found myself wondering if it was lit at all, and of course sometimes found that it was not because the bottle had run out of gas.
This might be suitable for a traveling or camping grill. It's nearly useless for us, and will definitely be in next spring's big Oak Point Yard Sale.
