Reviews - The Tuscan
Linda and I like The Tuscan House (58 E Grove St Middleboro, MA 02346 508 923-0099) for good Italian dining at a reasonable price. The meals are a bit more food than we can handle; we never have room for desert, but that's hardly a complaint.
Most times we have been there we've been in the bar area, but recently when we went for an early dinner or late lunch around 3:00 PM we were seated in the main dining room. We both noticed an odd smell - it wasn't very strong, and didn't interfere with our dining, but it was definitely there. Maybe they just cleaned the carpets or something? We don't know, but it won't stop us from going back again. Decent food, reasonably priced.
... We went back for lunch today. Same peculiar smell when we entered, this time we were seated in the bar again. Waitress was loud and very inattentive. Linda had soup and salad which was OK. I had a burger which was mediocre - stick with the Italian food, they are better at it.
