Debby at the Oak Point Social Office told us this had opened and recommended it highly. We certainly have to agree: excellent food, very fresh, reasonable prices (and 10% off with your Oak Point VIP card).

We've been there twice now. The first time we had a small house salad and pizza. The house salad was not what most places call "small", and was all very fresh and clean, with Romaine lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pepper, a few small chunks of cheeses.. a very nice salad, served in a bowl so that you can cut it up without spilling it all over the table. The house dressing was also very nice.

The pizza did not ring our chimes; it's good, again obviously very, very fresh, but we felt the sauce was too watery - it made the pizza a little soggy. Still, with the toppings so fresh and delicious, it's hard to complain. The price is certainly right: the "small" (again, larger than what most places call small) starts at $9.00 for a plain cheese, and only $11.00 for Pineapple and Ham - hard to beat that nowadays!

On our second visit, I had Chicken Parmigiana and Linda tried the Cheese Ravioli. We both ate more than we thought we would - this was the luncheon sizes, and was still much more than we needed, but because it was so good, we just kept on eating. Once again I have to note how incredibly fresh tasting everything was. I think that's the word that epitomizes Mamma Mia's: fresh, fresh, fresh.

Aside from the wonderful food, the restaurant itself is nicely decorated - pleasant color choices, it's quite attractive. The music system plays mostly Italian music, adding to the atmosphere.

This is a small restaurant. They said they might be able to expand to an adjacent space: I think they will soon need to.
