While I was handing out flyers at the postal center, I had two people complain about the tag-line of this site. "It's not MY voice", they said.

Yes, it is, or is if you want it to be. Send me e-mail, send me a letter, hand me a piece of paper - if you tell me you want it published, and it isn't obscene, libelous, racist, homophobic, illegal or otherwise impossible to publish, I'll publish it.

I can't read your mind. I can't write your opinions for you. If you don't speak, no one hears. This IS your voice, but only if you make it so.

You do need to live at Oak Point and you need to specifically tell me that you want it published here and also whether or not to use your name.

By the way, I've been told that passing out flyers at the postal center is a no-no at Oak Point. Apparently a couple of people objected loudly; I won't do it again. You also can't post anything on any bulletin boards without pre-approval of the Social Office - just a "f.y.i." that I did not know.
