I'm sure the folks who play the Hold'em poker games here at Oak Point have seen Daniel Negreanu play on TV. I've been waiting for more than a year for his latest book: Power Hold'em Strategy  .

There are a few problems with most poker books. First, most of the authors aren't good writers, so the books can sometimes be a little hard to read. Secondly, many authors fail to distinguish what form of hold'em they are writing about: limit, pot limit, no limit, cash game, tournament.. these all require different strategies and if the author isn't clear, you can be getting some very bad advice.

Daniel Negreanu is very clear about his subject - Tournament No Limit Holdem. He also writes clearly and with style. As he's also someone with a lot to offer, this is a book well worth having.
