I just had a conversation with Al about the American Legion and the Oak Point Veterans Association. Apparently he had sent me some announcements to post here but they never showed up and he was wondering if I deliberately didn't post them.

Gosh no: I never saw the email. We haven't quite figured out why yet, but never mind that: if you send me something to post and you don't see it here within a day, call me because something went wrong somewhere. I'm in the Oak Point telephone list, it's "Lawrence, Tony & Linda" on Lantern Lane.

Here's my rules for posting: if it's of interest to people who live here, it's worth posting. The American Legion isn't an "Oak Point Club", but obviously Oak Point residents are members, so I'm more than happy to post news and announcements. The same is true for just about anything else: if you think your neighbors should know something, send it in. It does help to say "Please post this" in your email.

And remember: if you don't see it and had no return email from me asking for clarification, CALL me.
