Recently Oak Point homeowners were able to give over Thirteen thousand dollars to two local charities through the Oak Point Homeowners Charity Golf Tournament. This year's event, held in September at Poquoy Brook Golf Course in Lakeville, would never have been so successful without the support and generosity of many sponsors, golfers, Oak Point residents, and volunteers. Because of their time, talents, donations, and participation we were able to give this money to Homes for our Troops, an organization helping our soldiers in dire need, and the Brittany J. Richarson Foundation, benefitting mentally challenged children.

I'm sure our Oak Point neighbors would like to be aware of the many people and businesses who made our donation possible to these worthy charities. I hope we all will recognize them with appreciation and support:
