Employment Help
The Library, partnering with Middleborough on the Move and the Massachusetts Department of Employment and Training will hold a lunch time Brown Bag series on Wednesday afternoons at Noon in the Meeting Room. Ken Elliott of the Mass. DET will lead the weekly sessions targeting issues important to the unemployed or underemployed in our area. One-on-one counseling and general support will be provided as time permits. Topics for the sessions will include:

- * Resume Critique
- * Interviewing
- * Using Age to Your Advantage
- * Career Directions
- * Staying Positive While Unemployed
- * Using Age to Your Advantage
- * Staying Positive While Unemployed
- * Intro to Mass CIS
- * E-Learning
- * Networking
- * Salary Negotiations
- * Job Search Strategies
The Job-Seekers Support Group will begin on Wednesdays, October 14, at 1:00 PM. Each session will last approximately 90 minutes. Bring a lunch and the Friends of the Middleborough Public Library will provide beverages and chips.
