Having owned a service station over 50 years ago, I can appreciate peoples concern over the high gas prices of today. As I just returned from Scituate Harbour, I noticed a dramatic drop in gas prices at 3 service stations on the way home. I thought it might be a helpful idea if readers of your site e-mailed locations of stations with low prices when they see them. What do you think?

Great idea, Norm. Linda and I have noticed that the Sunoco on Route 28 near Dave's Diner (on same side) is usually low also - Tony Lawrence
Update from Norman on 8/6:
Most area stations as of today are $2.69 Gal. One Citgo station near the Flat Iron Restaurant is $2.67 Gal. The cheapest within 10 miles is on Rte. 27 near the intersection of Rte. 18. Yesterday it was $2.59 Gal. Almost worth a special trip from Oakpoint. You shouldn't have to pay more than $2.69 anywhere around
