Our day begins with a sit-down lunch at the infamous "Publick House Restaurant". Then it's off to the Tower Hill Botanic Gardens, a living museum of plants, greenhouses with citrus and Palm Trees, seasonal displays and Evergreens. Early summer is the best time of year to visit as all the flowers are in full bloom. You can walk through the indoor sites and also enjoy the grounds. Do as much or as little walking as you like. Each garden display has its own theme, "Wildlife", "Refuge Pond", "Systematic", "Moss Steps" plus you don't want to miss the Botanic Gift Shop.
