I saw this on TV and decided to check it out: JackPot Rewards. It's a fee based shopping club ($3 a week) with a twist: you get entered into a lottery every week.

Store selection is reasonable - doesn't include everywhere we shop, but has quite a few. "Deal of the day" looks pretty good from the little checking around I did.

I'm not positive this is a "good" thing, but it looks like it might be, so take a peek and check it out for yourself.
