We didn't expect to land here with a mortgage, but because we had to cut the price of our old home so drastically, we do have one now.

We used Randolph Savings. The problem, of course, is that not all banks will do chattel mortgages (that's what Oak Pointers need because we only own the house, not the land). It is extremely time consuming to shop around for mortgage pricing because of that - you waste a lot of time winnowing out those that just don't do chattel's at all. So I thought it might be useful to compile a list here of banks that do. We'll start with the only ones I know:
