The second annual OPHCGT was held this year at the Poquoy Brook CC

In Lakeville, on September 11, 2009. There were 124 golfers playing in our 10AM shotgun. This year we had several categories for prizes .There were two prizes awarded for the two lowest team scores. A separate prize for the women's lowest team score and another prize for the super senior low team score. Additional prizes were awarded for the men's long drive and the women's long drive with an additional prize for the super senior long drive. The weather that day was excellent and a good time was had by all golfers.

After the tournament we had an excellent dinner back at the Oak Point club house and all the prizes were given out and everyone was invited to take their chances on our many raffles and auctions both silent and live.

We are happy to announce that we were able to make a profit of $16,000 which was divided evenly between The Brittany J. Richardson Foundation (which funds mentally challenged children) and Homes for Our Troops (which supports our severely wounded troops) This figure was double what we raised last year.
