I Refused to Die available

This is in the August Newsletter, but Paul Krietzberg asked me to post it here also.

THANK YOU

To our friends and neighbors: We want to thank all of you who attended the presentation from Susie Davidson's book I Refused to Die on Thursday, June 28th. We also appreciate the patience of the crowd waiting for her to arrive after being stuck in traffic over two hours.

She e-mailed us the next day to say how wonderful the folks at Oak Point were to her and her and her two senior veteran guests and they continued to talk about our kindnesses and the beautiful Oak Point community all the way back to Cambridge, MA. She hopes to return here in the fall with Cranston "Chan" Rogers, a veteran who helped liberate Dachau prison and with a holocaust survivor as guests.

She apologised for not having brought enough copies for everyone who wanted to buy one and arranged for Paul Kreitzberg to meet her at the Middleboro rotary to pick up more copies.
